**B & K Revegetation & Landscaping **is a commercial landscape construction and revelation specialist serving NSW since 1983.

B & K are experiencing exponential growth and are now seeking an experienced **Human Resource Officer** to assist with all HR related matters for the company, including employee related policies, procedures, issues, performance management, recruitment etc. In this role you will report and work closely with the Commercial Manager.

The position will be based at our Berkeley Vale office with working days flexible. The position is p**art-time** with salary to be pro-rata based with the intention of a 3-4 day working week with the potential of transitioning into full-time. Salary is negotiable depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counselling on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Onboarding new employees
- Coordinate training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years’ Human Resources experience preferably in construction sector
- Qualification in Human Resources or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HR systems & databases preferably some experience with ‘EnableHR’ or similar
- Knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
