Strategic Financial Planning Lead - Resources Sector

The company

Our client is a global leader in the resources sector, committed to innovation, sustainability, and responsible operations.

The role

The Strategic Financial Planning Lead will help deliver the company's annual plan, collaborate with Senior Executives, and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Specifically, you will:

  1. Support the development of the organisation's annual financial plan.
  2. Partner with Senior Executives to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations that support business growth and performance.
  3. Undertake detailed financial analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks, informing strategic decisions.
  4. Develop clear, concise, and insightful presentations for Senior Executives that effectively communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities.

Ideal skills and experience

  1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confident in partnering with Senior Executives and non-finance stakeholders.
  2. Relevant senior-level experience in FP&A.
  3. Ability to translate complex financial data into concise and impactful presentations for Senior Executives.
  4. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive strategic financial initiatives.
  5. CA / CPA / CFA / MBA qualification.
