Financial Analysis and Business Planning Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial analyst to join our organization in Perth, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong analytical skillset and a passion for driving business performance.

This role will involve leading annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.

Delivering timely and accurate reporting, dashboards, and performance insights to senior stakeholders is also a key aspect of this role. You will partner with business units to provide commercial support, business case analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Finally, you will drive enhancements in financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Financial Analysis and Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Reporting and Insights: Deliver timely and accurate reporting, dashboards, and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic and Business Support: Partner with business units to provide commercial support, business case analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Systems and Process Improvement: Drive enhancements in financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified with 4-8 years of experience.
  • Background in Big 4 audit or advisory, ideally with exposure to FP&A or commercial finance.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights, build financial models, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
