Overview

This is a leadership opportunity to enhance planning support services, improve business systems, and contribute to shaping Clarence's future.

Role title: Team Leader Planning Administration

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support a small team delivering planning administrative services.
  • Coordinate support services to meet legislative timeframes and obligations.
  • Improve systems and customer service outcomes through process enhancements.
  • Manage documentation and records to meet corporate standards.
  • Support planning-related projects and develop process documentation.

You are a confident and organised leader with strong administrative expertise and a customer-focused mindset. You enjoy problem-solving, team collaboration, and driving service improvement.

You Will Bring
  • Proven experience in team leadership and coaching.
  • Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
  • A track record of improving systems and delivering efficient processes.
  • Digital literacy and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Qualifications in Business (including Office Administration), Management, Planning, IT or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience in local government or knowledge of planning systems (desirable).
What We Offer
  • A competitive base salary: $89,760.55 – $99,774.18 depending on skills and experience + 12.5% superannuation
  • 2 year fixed-term contract/full-time
  • 19-day month (rostered day off each month)
