Lead with purpose. Make a difference in your community. We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our Planning Administration team within the City Planning Group. This is a leadership opportunity to enhance planning support services, improve business systems, and contribute to shaping Clarence's future.
Role title: Team Leader Planning Administration
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor and support a small team delivering planning administrative services.
- Coordinate support services to meet legislative timeframes and obligations.
- Improve systems and customer service outcomes through process enhancements.
- Manage documentation and records to meet corporate standards.
- Support planning-related projects and develop process documentation.
You are a confident and organised leader with strong administrative expertise and a customer-focused mindset. You enjoy problem-solving, team collaboration, and driving service improvement.
You Will Bring- Proven experience in team leadership and coaching.
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- A track record of improving systems and delivering efficient processes.
- Digital literacy and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Qualifications in Business (including Office Administration), Management, Planning, IT or a related field (desirable).
- Experience in local government or knowledge of planning systems (desirable).
- A competitive base salary: $89,760.55 – $99,774.18 depending on skills and experience + 12.5% superannuation
- 2 year fixed-term contract/full-time
- 19-day month (rostered day off each month)
