Our Elderly Personal & Wellbeing Carers

At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry-leading resident care and services that encourage and enable residents to remain independent. All employees work in our safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer Workers (PCWs) are highly interactive, supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM, and Night shifts. We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing, and medication shifts, with in-house training programs and buddy systems.

This role based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD involves working closely with the nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams to perform resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner, supported by highly skilled senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific duties and accountabilities.

About You

We hire for heart; our best people are highly empathetic, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have at least 1 year of experience in the Aged Care sector and can think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers. Additionally, you will:

• Maintain excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or injuring themselves
• Possess a positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, manage time effectively (including handovers), and follow strict safety procedures
• Have a passion for a career that makes a difference and a willingness to help our company deliver quality care services daily
• Possess great communication skills to engage with residents in a calm, patient, and empathetic manner, building trust and companionship
• Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care); second-year nursing students with aged care placement and related healthcare Cert III courses are also considered
• Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance

Infinite Care accepts the Ausmed Passport, a free digital certificate recognizing completion of eight core mandatory training topics for the Australian aged care workforce.

Our care roles are busy and involve a lot of bending, lifting, pushing, and squatting to perform duties safely. All candidates will need to complete an online medical assessment to ensure safety standards are met.
