About the role :

As a Personal Carer Trainee, you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

  • Completing scheduled visits on the road, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes and supporting with daily activities.
  • Providing in-home personal care, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Supporting clients according to their individualised Care Plan.
  • Assisting with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements :

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle for work - Essential
  • Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
