Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our client's established team

Fuse Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a leading Australian-owned business who operates within the FMCG industry and who pride themselves on supplying the market with premium quality products and service.

This integral role reports into the Site Manager and is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, delivery to production targets, and ultimate leadership of the team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in FMCG production management and continuous improvement initiatives. A key focus will be ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations that support production performance and customer satisfaction, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all workplace activities comply with Occupational Health & Safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe and responsible work environment
  • Ensure all aspects of the manufacturing process are managed, planned and executed within acceptable tolerances and to site targets
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching support to team and wider site
  • Prepare reports, analyse data, promote problem solving and make continuous improvement recommendations
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching capability
  • Experience with continuous improvement programs and initiatives
  • Experience with safety programs (JSAs, TAKE 5, SWMS, risk assessments, etc)
