
Procurement Coordinator

Are you a procurement professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and community-focused organisation? We're looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to drive strategic purchasing and deliver value across Council operations. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Moruya, New South Wales.
Responsibilities- Lead Council's procurement function and shape efficient, transparent, and forward-thinking procurement practices.
- Prepare tender and contract documentation; support related procurement processes.
- Undertake procedural reviews and deliver outcomes that reinforce probity and compliance.
- Use data-driven decision making to forecast needs and influence outcomes.
- Provide strong leadership to guide and support the procurement team.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate and implement procurement strategies.
- Formal qualifications in procurement and/or contract management.
- Substantial experience in public sector procurement and understanding of probity, compliance, and financial systems.
- Ability to deliver results in a complex procurement environment.

What We Offer- 35 hours per week for administrative staff and 38 hours per week for operational staff.
