This is a permanent, full-time role within the Water and Sewerage department. The successful candidate will lead the Projects Team in delivering the Water and Sewerage capital works program.

- Leading the Projects Team in delivering the Water and Sewerage capital works program.
- Overseeing project planning, procurement, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement to support operations and strategic goals.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to our team as a Capital Works Manager. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Water and Sewerage capital works program, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Managing contractors and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinating with stakeholders, including Council staff, community groups, and other external parties.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a local government setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
