Overview

Business Analyst role at Nextracker Inc.

Nextracker is a leading company in the solar industry, designing and manufacturing PV tracking systems that improve the economics of solar power. This role is part of the Foundation Solutions business unit and involves developing and continually improving key business systems, operational processes, and relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Environment, Health and Safety: be a visible safety leader, contribute to continual safety improvements, ensure compliance with Australian WHS requirements (including PCBU obligations), maintain the business risk management plan, investigate safety events to identify root causes and corrective actions, and challenge the operations team on safety improvements.
  • Business Systems: refine and develop fleet operations records, establish order processing and inventory management systems, develop and manage capacity planning across equipment and personnel, and develop an internal knowledge sharing portal.
  • Operations: assist in coordination of logistics for equipment.
  • Knowledge Sharing: identify key data metrics, capture and analyze data over time, write reports for public consumption, and maintain content on the knowledge sharing portal.
  • Training Delivery: localize training content to the Australian market.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for improvement through technology, process, and people initiatives.
  • Care of Nextracker Property: ensure assets are accounted for, maintained, and in good working order; minimize risk of property damage, loss, or mistreatment.
  • Other Duties: contribute to Nextracker through participation and sharing ideas; perform any other duties as required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Leadership skills with the ability to communicate at multiple levels
  • Proven ability to develop and manage relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with developing business systems
  • Experience in written reporting across case studies and white papers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business development and leadership experience
  • Affinity for mechanical systems and machinery
  • Experience within the materials supply and construction industry
  • Experience within a business excellence environment
