Job Description

We are seeking a Business Insights Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize profitability and growth.

This role involves reviewing the commercial viability of new products, analyzing product performance, identifying slow-moving stock, and developing effective methods for storing and analyzing market information.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Product Validation: Review the commercial viability of new products, focusing on target pricing, costs, margin expectations, and forecasts.
  • Product Performance Analysis: Analyze the progress of new and existing products against targets, market performance, and return on investment, supporting decision-making around future planning.
  • Slow and Obsolete Stock: Identify slow-moving items, propose corrective actions, and influence the phase-out of lines at risk of becoming obsolete.
  • Market Data Harvesting: Collaborate with the external sales team to gather reliable market data for launching new products and reviewing existing product performance.
  • System Data Maintenance: Maintain and manage customer price files within the system, including promotions and pricing adjustments.
