Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting contracts, preparing employee change letters, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting compliance documentation.
  • Coordinating new starter processes, welcome packs, inductions, and exit checklists.
  • Updating and maintaining HR systems with employee data, leave records, and reporting requirements.
  • Posting job ads, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising with hiring managers.
  • Assisting with scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and updating the LMS.
  • Supporting internal communications, wellbeing initiatives, and culture-building activities.
  • Assisting with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • General enquiries: Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries and escalating where appropriate.
The Successful Applicant
  • Experienced in HR coordination or administration, ideally within fast-paced or complex environments.
  • Holding or working towards a qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (e.g. Cert IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree).
  • Confident with HR systems and tools (e.g. HRIS, Microsoft Office).
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicators with a proactive, team-first mindset.
  • Passionate about building a career in HR and contributing to a positive employee experience.
