The Opportunity

As our next Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Based at the Iron Bridge open-cut mine site project, WA with a 8,7 - 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and coordinate all weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner by prioritising resources, machinery and people.
  • Solve daily and weekly technical and resource logistical problems.
  • Ensure full statutory and safety compliance of all maintenance activities.
  • Identify resource and skill gaps for team members and develop strategies to close gaps.
  • Mentor, coach and roll out training and development plans

About You

  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician
  • 5+ years post trade experience
  • Demonstrated experience with large fleets of mobile mining machinery
  • Mine System Maintenance experience
  • General Computer Skills
  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • Mentoring and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling, plant availability and preventative maintenance processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
