Job Description

  • Lead a specialist marketing team to design and deliver end-to-end customer journeys across owned and paid media channels.
  • Oversee Qantas' airline marketing conversion programs and lead digital and email acquisition strategies.
  • This is a permanent position based at our Mascot Campus.

The Manager Marketing – Customer Acquisition reports to the Head of Marketing – Leisure and Tourism Development. The role involves leading a specialist marketing team to ensure alignment with marketing strategies, focusing on customer acquisition and airline revenue.

This position will lead the customer acquisition strategy to grow leads through owned channels and co-lead digital marketing acquisition strategies with Digital Direct, designing marketing journeys that adapt to the evolving digital landscape, from paid media to onsite conversion.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  1. 10+ years in marketing roles across diverse digital industries.
  2. Relevant tertiary qualifications or five years' work experience in a related field.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of marketing processes.
  4. A thought leader passionate about innovative marketing solutions using data, insights, and experience.
  5. Proven success in delivering results in complex, high-paced environments.
  6. Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships.
  7. Effective business planning, implementation, and communication skills.
  8. Strong analytical and project management skills.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
  10. Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders.
