For over 30 years the Patricia Giles Centre for Non-Violence (PGCNV) has been one of the leading providers of family and domestic violence services in the Perth metropolitan area. Supporting more than 5,000 Western Australian women and children last year, they provide crisis accommodation facilities and support, women's and children's counselling services and outreach programs.

Its reputation is driven by its commitment to providing a high-quality, client-focused and sustainable service to clients accessing our programs and services. In addition to the provision of direct response and recovery services, PGCNV also provides advocacy, referral information and support to women and their children seeking relief from the impact of domestic violence.

What's on offer:

Reporting to a strong and supportive Board, through the Chairperson, you will be responsible for the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives. This will include the delivery of key strategic outcomes and ensuring the delivery of first-class services to those who are supported by the organisation. In doing so, you will have a genuine ability to make a significant positive impact on a key societal issue.

About You

  • Previous experience as a CEO or Executive Manager from the human services or community sectors (FDV experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of best practice clinical governance.
  • A track record in the successful delivery of change management agendas.
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines.
  • A proactive and empathetic leader, capable of building a cohesive team environment.
  • High level strategic and operational planning skills; and
  • Experience in working with a volunteer Board.
