  • Develop and review electrical design packages for solar PV plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated transmission lines.
  • Develop and review procurement specifications for HV/MV/LV equipment, inverters, BESS system, protection, SCADA and control systems.
  • Draft site layout, general arrangement, SLD, elevation, and required drawings as well as cable schedule.
  • Engage BOP contractors, integrators, suppliers, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders for project development and constructions.
  • Support EPC tender/procurement process and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Interface with TNSP/DNSP and AEMO for technical discussions.
  • Travel to remote sites for project inspection and surveys.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years' experience in either HV electrical design, grid connection, and project delivery for large-scale renewable projects.
  • Proficiency with AUTOCAD and PVSYST.
  • Understanding of HV substations (33–330kV), transmission line design and protection systems.
  • Confident liaising with NSPs, AEMO, EPCs, OEMs.
  • Familiarity with EPC contracts and construction technical support.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards preferred.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
