The Role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Leader to drive new business growth while building the frameworks that will take our Business Development team to the next level. This role is all about leading, enabling, and optimising — you'll empower your team with the structure, strategy, and resources they need to drive sales effectively. You'll play a key role in shaping our sales strategy, refining processes, and fostering a high-performance team, ensuring they are set up for success. While this is a leadership role, you'll still be hands-on where needed, whether that's strengthening key relationships, refining our sales approach, or supporting major opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Leadership & Team Development – Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Business Development team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and success.
- New Business Acquisition – Drive new business acquisition by refining and executing strategies to secure new employer clients.
- High-Impact Sales Execution – Support and drive major sales opportunities, ensuring high-impact deals are effectively executed.
- Sales Strategy & Frameworks – Refine sales strategies and frameworks, including scripting, objection handling, and KPI tracking.
- Sales Structures & Processes – Build and implement sales structures and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Performance & Pipeline Management – Monitor sales performance and pipeline, identifying gaps and providing solutions to optimise results.
- Reporting & Insights – Develop reporting frameworks to track key sales metrics and provide insights to leadership.
- Strategic Decision-Making – Drive strategic decision-making by compiling insightful reports for executive management and the Board.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with business goals, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
- Continuous Improvement – Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, training, and overall team effectiveness.
About You
- A proven sales leader with experience driving new business acquisition and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic mindset, able to refine sales processes, set up frameworks, and create efficiencies.
- A natural mentor and coach, passionate about enabling your team's success through structure, training, and support.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships and drive commercial outcomes.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, using insights to track performance and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, able to identify challenges, prioritize solutions, and implement scalable processes.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-growing environment, balancing leadership with hands-on involvement where needed.
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven, with a focus on achieving business growth while maintaining a great team culture.
