Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Undertaking tangible legal work such as drafting correspondence, assisting with research, attending court, and participating in client meetings
- Contributing to business development activities and completing work for the Pro Bono team
- Attending in-house seminars for professional development
- Connecting with partners, lawyers, and current Law Graduates to learn about their experiences
- Participating in extra-curricular activities, including social club events and end-of-month celebrations
- Working closely with a mentor and buddy to maximize the learning experience
About You
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must :
Be in their penultimate or final year of an Australian law degreeIdentify as a member of one or more of the First Nations of AustraliaDemonstrate a sound academic recordShow previous work experience, a commitment to commercial law, and involvement in the community (such as volunteer work, travel, sporting, or cultural interests)Exhibit personable, insightful, and intelligent qualities with energy and enthusiasmValue a collegiate environment and work / life balanceCompensation & Benefits
