Opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Graduates
We offer a seasonal clerkship program designed to provide practical legal experience and mentorship to graduates from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Your role will involve undertaking tangible legal work, contributing to business development activities, and participating in client meetings. You will also have the opportunity to attend in-house seminars for professional development and connect with partners, lawyers, and current law graduates to learn about their experiences.
About You
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must:
- Be in their penultimate or final year of an Australian law degree
- Identify as a member of one or more of the First Nations of Australia
- Demonstrate a sound academic record
- Show previous work experience, a commitment to commercial law, and involvement in the community (such as volunteer work, travel, sporting, or cultural interests)
- Exhibit personable, insightful, and intelligent qualities with energy and enthusiasm
- Value a collegiate environment and work/life balance
