Community and Aged Care Services, Greater Newcastle Sector Community Nursing, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the team in a Permanent Full-Time position at Eastlakes Community Health Centre (Windale).

Eastlakes Community Health Centre provides community nursing to clients in the East Lake Macquarie LGA. You will deliver holistic, person-centred care to clients and their families in their own homes, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

As an Enrolled Nurse in Community Nursing, you will provide evidence-based care that promotes positive health outcomes under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will work collaboratively with clients and the healthcare team to implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing care.

This role focuses on building therapeutic and professional relationships with clients in their homes and contributing to a culture that reflects the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse who demonstrates:

• Urinary catheter care and management

Other skills can be developed on the job, with the support of mentors, Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Nurse Specialists.

An initial orientation program will be provided, supported by experienced mentors and senior nursing staff. You will also have access to ongoing professional development opportunities delivered both face-to-face and online, ensuring you are supported to grow in your role.
