Where You'll Be WorkingEndoscopy and Cardiac Cath Lab unit, John Hunter Hospital, located in New Lambton Heights. The area cares for inpatients from a broad range of specialties, with generally independent patients and lower clinical acuity. You will be supported by a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators who provide leadership, mentorship, and development.
Responsibilities- Deliver individualised, high-quality patient care under the guidance of experienced Registered Nurses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team and allied staff to ensure safe, effective care.
- Support a calm, well-supported environment for night shift patients and staff.
- Enrolled Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Medication Endorsed where applicable.
- Permanent night shift availability.
- Compassionate, patient-centred care; detail-oriented; professional and ethical conduct.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time in a dynamic environment.
- Eligible Enrolled Nurses may apply for a $3,000 Transition to Practice Education Scholarship (pro-rata for part-time).
