The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Data and Analytics Specialist to join our team and drive data-led decision making across the organisation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational and commercial data into clear, actionable insights. You will play a key role in understanding business performance drivers, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives through data analytics.

Beyond traditional analysis, you will explore and apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy and optimise business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the organisation's data strategy and make a meaningful impact across all departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data models and interactive dashboards to visualise operational, financial, and production metrics.
  • Analyse and interpret large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies across farming and manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data requirements, develop KPIs, and enhance internal management reporting.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI and machine learning for demand forecasting and process optimisation.
  • Serve as the primary finance team contact for data-related issues involving ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
  • Partner with IT and Finance teams to ensure ongoing improvement in data structure, quality, and integrity.
  • Provide support for system migration and integration initiatives, ensuring smooth data transitions and alignment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A current and valid driver's licence.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI (or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of APIs and data integration methods across systems.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and applications, including predictive modelling and generative AI (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
