We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT professional to join a critical project involving the setup and deployment of two new data centers.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with racking, stacking, and validating connections between two new data centers using Cisco Nexus 9K switches. This involves ensuring seamless connectivity between the two data centers and collaborating with on-site and remote teams to ensure configuration is accurate and meets best practices.

  • Data Center Setup: Assist with racking, stacking, and validating connections between two new data centers (one in Virginia and one in Arizona) using Cisco Nexus 9K switches (4 spines, 36 leafs).
  • Configuration & Validation: Validate network connectivity and ensure proper labeling. Collaborate with on-site and remote teams to ensure configuration is accurate and meets best practices.
  • Multisite Data Center Design: Configure routing, multicast, spanning tree, and interfaces across both data centers. Leverage Cisco NDFC for provisioning and configuring the network, ensuring seamless connectivity between the two data centers.

This role requires hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, VXLAN/EVPN, and Multisite Data Center design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep Expertise in Cisco Nexus switches (Nexus 9K), VXLAN/EVPN, and NDFC.
  • 5-10 Years of Hands-On Experience with Data Center Design and Implementation, specifically in multisite environments.
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and configuring them in data center environments.
