Our client is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst for an initial 12-month contract with potential to extend.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all Procurement Planning and Reporting activities comply with the Company's standards and procedures, while also coordinating with APRU to collect all relevant procurement data.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain Procurement Plan for C&P.
  • Prepare a planning meeting schedule for all User Departments with a schedule consistent with required activities.
  • Ensure data validity and integrity of the C&P Planning Data and Systems, compiling reports and verifying results with relevant Department focal points.
  • Monitor the consistency between the Procurement Plan and Company's activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for issues concerning Planning and Monitoring Procurement Cycle.
  • Act as a point of contact for expediting activities towards User Departments.
  • Conduct strategic analysis of Procurement and Planning activity.
  • Compile reports in accordance with HQ, EAL management, and auditor's reporting requirements.
  • Prepare bi-annual C&P report.
  • Support ongoing analytical work to assist Management (KPIs, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain C&P "how-to" documentation.
  • Support Vendor Management Unit, including vendor qualification documentation, due diligence coordination, and supplier data analysis.
  • Maintain C&P filing system.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required to support the line manager.
Main Interfaces (Internal):
  • Reports to Vendor Management, Compliance, Planning & Reporting Senior Advisor.
  • Coordinates with staff at all levels, including User Departments, Finance, HR, and HSE across locations.
  • Collaborates within the C&P Department.
  • Acts as Focal Point for Procurement Planning and Monitoring activities with HQ.
Main Interfaces (External):
  • Interacts with external contractors/service providers for information exchange.
  • Assists with liaising with government regulatory authorities as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ideally a tertiary qualification in law, economics, engineering, or higher degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in reporting and planning roles.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a major oil company's Exploration & Production sector.
Required Competencies:
  • Knowledge of contract and procurement methods, terminology, and processes.
  • Attention to detail for accurate reporting.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in internal auditing and monitoring.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Professionalism and personal integrity.
  • Planning, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality maintenance.
