You will ensure the department aligns with ISO 9001 standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, enhancing our teams ability to manage the lifecycle, reliability and availability of the medical technology assets that underpin patient safety, workforce efficiency, and world-class paediatric care.

Reporting to the Director Medical Technology Management Unit, you apply project management skills, and work closely with stakeholders across CAHS, including clinical teams, digital health, and hospital management, to deliver a contemporary, efficient, and technology-driven medical technology service, ensuring high standards of quality assurance in the maintenance, repair, and performance testing of medical equipment, particularly in critical care areas across the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS).

Your ability to analyse complex technical and operational challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions will be key to success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in biomedical engineering or equivalent experience, with ISO 9001 expertise and experience in hospital environments, medical gas technology, and ICT systems. A strong background in process improvement, business case development, and strategic planning will be highly regarded.

This role is based at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH), with responsibilities across CAHS, including Midland Hub, Murdoch Hub, and KEMH Neonatology.
