The Role

Defence Digital Group (DDG) is seeking motivated individuals across infrastructure, cloud computing, applications development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and networking domains to join our Engineering Branch.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow in the ICT field. You will gain hands-on experience and training in various platforms and technologies related to ICT. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing end-to-end ICT solutions that meet business, technical, and security requirements.

Our three core priorities are: building top-tier talent to support DDG's efforts, supported by leading global platforms and sovereign capabilities. Our goal is to equip our warfighters with the appropriate technologies to succeed in the digital age. These roles will be part of larger project teams focused on developing solutions and delivering capabilities.

About our Team

You will join a team of ICT professionals delivering complex projects across key digital domains within both the Military and Enterprise Systems Divisions of Defence Digital Group (DDG).

These roles will provide technical expertise within a matrixed structure, with teams and individuals embedded into projects as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidates will:

  • Have a basic understanding of networking, cloud computing, programming, or data analytics, and be able to collaborate with enterprise and domain architects to ensure solutions align with Defence architecture frameworks and standards such as TOGAF and DODAF.
  • Be familiar with programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Be eager to learn new technologies and develop a broad skill set in ICT.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Have good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Be capable of documenting processes, configurations, and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous ICT system improvements.
