Overview

We are seeking a creative and passionate Art and Design Teacher to join a school. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and gain confidence in self-expression. Beginning October 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach a variety of media and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and textiles.
  • Encourage students to develop creativity, critical thinking, and artistic confidence.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Maintain a safe, well-organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, exhibitions, and extracurricular opportunities such as art clubs and competitions.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Art and Design.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as an Art and Design Teacher.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of art.
