Apprentice Parts Interpreter – Certificate III in Automotive Sales

Position details: 48 Months Maximum Term Full Time, 9-day fortnight; Earn while you learn opportunity available; AMA40 – AMA50 ($29,987 - $36,287 per annum + superannuation) based on schooling level completion. Adult (over 21 upon commencement). Adult (over 21 upon commencement) AMAA75 $50,594 per annum + superannuation.

Under close supervision, this position undertakes a competency-based apprenticeship to develop a range of skills in parts interpreting and ordering tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner as part of on-the-job training required of the parts interpreter apprenticeship. This position consists of completing a 4-year Certificate III In Automotive Sales at TAFE North Queensland. For more information on the qualification through TAFE, please follow the link below. In an ideal applicant, we are looking for:

• Willingness to be part of, and promote, a positive safety culture whilst adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Minimum completed Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.
• Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence (or ability to obtain).
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to undertake the requirements to successfully complete the associated qualification.
