Responsibilities

Currently we are seeking to include a motivated and experienced Manager Capital Planning and Reporting to join our SMHS Finance team, within the Corporate and Finance group. This role is largely responsible for leading and organising strategic asset planning and the capital program. Working within a complex and evolving health system, you will collaborate with executive leaders, project teams, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions that support the organisation\'s long-term infrastructure and financial goals. You will also lead a small, dedicated team focused on capital project reporting, fixed asset management, and performance insights. The successful applicant/s shall be responsible to:

  • Lead and manage the strategic asset planning, financing, and performance reporting functions for SMHS.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with SMHS and broader health strategies, reforms, and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and management of capital funding submissions in accordance with system manager timeframes and requirements.
  • Develop and implement business improvements and contemporary solutions that align with SMHS\'s strategic direction.
