ICT Support Officer (Mt. Barker) — Talent Crafers, South Australia, Australia

What's the Role?

This role will be responsible for performing a range of Infrastructure Support activities within an internal client environment across various business units. The position will require ongoing support, level 1/2 technical support and some server support – BAU, backup and troubleshooting, as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1/2 technical support for server and desktop environments (hardware, network peripherals, mobile devices, etc.).
  • Manage TCP/IP networking, information system security principles, and related infrastructure components.
  • Support and administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange servers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting server and desktop environments (hardware, networking, etc.).
  • Understanding of communications networks (Cisco focus).
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange servers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-managed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Contract and Location Details

Contract: Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension. On-site in Mt. Barker/Mannum region. Working with children checks required prior commencement. Supporting schools around the Adelaide Hills region.
