Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Data Analyst & Report Writer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources, and providing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that enhance data visibility. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Data Analyst & Report Writer will support key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking and contribute to the successful rollout of the organization's data framework and AI initiatives.
The Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, external sources).
- Analyse trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business strategy and performance improvements.
- Translate complex data findings into plain-language insights and visualizations.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy through robust quality assurance practices.
- Analyse and document future state and gap analysis relating to data.
- Create and maintain dashboards and regular reports. Write clear, concise, and actionable reports for business users, executives, and operational teams.
- Collaborate with business units to understand reporting needs and develop fit-for-purpose solutions and KPIs.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and contribute to ongoing data improvement initiatives.
- Rollout data framework and AI as part of the upcoming upgrades.
- 3 or plus years of previous experience as an analyst or similar.
- Experience with data reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to engage with people across a broad spectrum of backgrounds in a professional manner and a willingness to undertake what is required to ensure client satisfaction.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in all output and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Pronto and Cognos would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, IT, or related field would be desirable.
