About the Role

As a skilled Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing health-related data to drive strategic decision-making. With your expertise in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau, you will uncover valuable insights that inform our organisation's policies and procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and experience working with health data to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

  • Demonstrated experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis, preferably within a health data context.
  • Proven ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights through statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in data tools including Excel, SQL, Tableau, and other data visualization or reporting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform our organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
