Join Sims Metal as a Junior Account Manager and gain hands-on experience in metal recycling through a structured trainee program.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Rotate through key business areas to learn how Sims sources, processes, and trades metal
  • Support the Commercial Team with pricing, customer service, and administrative tasks
  • Assist in achieving commercial targets and building customer relationships
  • Learn to assess, price, and purchase scrap metal as part of development into a Trading Representative
About You

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, flexible attitude, and ability to use own initiative

  • Any business, commercial, or customer service experience is desirable
  • Current driver's licence (required)
