Our client is seeking an experienced Junior Tax Accountant to join their high-quality accounting firm

(Please note that previous Tax Accounting experience in a chartered accounting firm is essential.)

About the role

In this role, your duties as a Junior Tax Accountant will include but not be limited to:

  • preparing/filing individual and business tax returns
  • researching & monitoring current tax legislation
  • maintaining precise financial documentation
  • liaising with clients for information gathering and updates
  • supporting financial statement & report preparation.

What our client's looking for

  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related
  • Min. 2 years previous tax accounting experience in a chartered accounting firm
  • Strong knowledge of tax legislation and financial reporting
  • MYOB AE and MS Office proficiency preferred
  • Corporate tax return expertise highly valued
  • Full Australian working rights highly preferred
  • CPA or CA certification (or progressing towards) advantageous.
