As part of this journey, we're looking for a detail-oriented and commercially mindedSenior Financial Accountantto join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with key stakeholders across the business, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and supporting informed decision-making.

As Senior Financial Accountant, you will:

• Lead month-end processes including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Variance Analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support the preparation of statutory financial statements
• Manage AASB16 leasing entries and occupancy cost reporting
• Partner with department heads to review and analyse costs
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Coach and mentor junior finance team members
• Liaise with external auditors and contribute to the Annual Report
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in reporting processes
  

What you will bring:

• Degree in Accounting and CPA/CA qualification (or nearing completion)
• 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, ideally within retail or a multi-site environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and month/year-end processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and BW highly regarded
• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively
