Job Description
As a Laboratory Technician based in Koolan Island you will be responsible for the quality of preparation and analysis of designated samples during your shift. This is a FIFO positions with a 2&1 roster.
Some Other Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Understand the processes of sample preparation and analysis of samples by XRF.
- Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
- Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.
- Understand assay methods and recognition of sample types.
The successful person will have:
- Experience in a similar laboratory environment.
- Experience in sample preparation.
- Current drivers licence.
- Experience in fusion XRF (desirable).
- Laboratory based qualification or similar, in a related field preferred.
