About Our Opportunity

A dedicated and experienced Laboratory Technician is required to deliver accurate sampling and testing of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct chemical and bacteriological analyses on in-line samples, finished products, and raw materials.
  • Promptly and accurately communicate test results to internal and external customers.
  • Deliver efficient and reliable testing services using approved laboratory methods.
  • Maintain equipment calibration schedules and consistently uphold housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Periodically review laboratory performance using defined metrics.
  • Perform environmental monitoring and sampling, manage laboratory consumables, and complete additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory/testing supporting a food manufacturing operation is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities are necessary.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
