About the Role

We are currently seeking applications for an Assistant Pan Boiler at Invicta Mill in Giru, located 50 km from Townsville. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory, requiring shift work during the crushing season (including weekends and overtime) and day work during the maintenance period.

The Assistant Pan Boiler is responsible for producing low-grade sugar by monitoring and controlling batch/continuous pans, assessing crystal size and massecuite quality, and making necessary adjustments to ensure sugar quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sugar processing experience
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • Maintenance skills, including trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger, and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences (highly desirable)

If you don't have all the required experience, we encourage you to apply if you have a keen attitude and willingness to learn. We will provide training to develop you into our ideal candidate.

The successful applicant will undertake further training to complete the necessary Assistant Pan Boiler station and maintenance competencies.
