Overview

Crisis Intervention Specialist - Child Response Team at FrontLine Service. Provides phone and community-based crisis response to children/adolescents with urgent mental health needs. Services include answering the crisis hotline, providing resource information and linkage to community providers, completing crisis assessments in community or hospital settings, and safety/disposition planning. On-site clinical supervision is available 24/7. This is a non-exempt, union position.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis calls and engage children, adolescents, and families in crisis intervention.
  • Provide crisis assessments in community or hospital settings.
  • Offer resource information and linkage to community providers.
  • Develop safety and disposition plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers.
  • Operate within a supportive setting to build diagnostic and risk assessment skills under on-site supervision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of one year professionally supervised work in mental health, chemical dependency, or social services.
  • LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC certification/authorization.
  • Valid driver's license with less than six points, proof of insurance, and an operational vehicle is required.
Employment Details
  • Pay rate: $36.06 per hour.
  • Schedule: typically 4-10 hour shifts; some evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Location: Cleveland, OH area (as applicable to the role).
  • Seniority level: Entry level.
