Job Title

Crisis Intervention Specialist - Trauma Services Expert

This role requires a Crisis Intervention Specialist who provides acute trauma intervention services in the home and community, including trauma screening and assessment.

  • The successful candidate will deliver Child Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support family members and witnesses of traumatic or violent events.
  • They will also offer practical and emotional support to those affected by trauma.
  • Collaboration with law enforcement, hospitals, schools, and other community agencies is essential for coordinating care and services.
  • Families will be assisted in planning for safety and understanding potential impacts on children, while connecting them to resources for navigating the criminal justice process.

Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pm. This is a non-exempt position, pay rate $36.06 per hour.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, with a minimum of one year professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services.
  • Must have either an LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC to be considered.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record and proof of insurance.
  • Master's degree strongly preferred.
