The RoleWe are seeking an exceptional educational leader to guide our Prep to Year 3 community with strategic insight, an aspirational vision, and creativity. The Director will demonstrate proven leadership with a strong understanding of how children learn best, and experience in, and a thorough understanding of, best practice in Literacy and Numeracy to ensure all students achieve their full academic potential.
- Cultivate relationships: Build and nurture strong bonds with students, families, and staff—anchored in dignity, respect, care, and compassion.
- Support holistic excellence: Promote academic, social, and emotional growth, creating environments where all dimensions of development are nurtured.
- Collaborate dynamically: Work with the Deputy Head of the School, Head of Junior School, and team to ensure a seamless K–12 learning experience.

What You'll Bring- Tertiary qualifications in primary education and proven leadership experience
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into action
- Expertise in contemporary pedagogy, wellbeing, and data-informed practice
- Deep understanding of the developmental needs of P-3 learners
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style
- Commitment to continuous improvement in Literacy and Numeracy outcomes
- Curriculum leadership, NAPLAN, and data-informed practice
- Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a solutions-focused approach
- VIT registration, Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain), and a current National Police Check
