About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Support Officer to join the SafeWork Licensing Team, part of the Authorisations and Verifications Directorate. This team delivers regulatory schemes to enable individuals, businesses and organisations to operate in NSW while ensuring compliance with the law. The role provides administrative support to facilitate business operations and supports the Management Team to achieve organisational objectives.

This role involves providing a range of support and administrative services across the team to enable effective operation of the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and adapt to multiple competing priorities while ensuring customer and/or business needs are met
  • Provide administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting coordination and minutes
  • Complete routine financial transactions (invoicing) and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures
  • Utilise computer systems and applications effectively
  • Act as the point of contact with internal customers, respond to enquiries and provide information in a timely manner with a commitment to customer service and attention to detail
About You
  • Self-motivated with initiative and a willingness to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to prioritise under competing demands
  • Sound ICT skills in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
