Do you have experience in community engagement, event facilitation, and strategic communication? We are seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Officer to join our team and support pivotal initiatives that enhance community connection and participation.

Position Overview:
As a Community Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in executing a major community campaign. Your responsibilities will include developing engaging content, coordinating community events, and implementing innovative strategies to encourage resident participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare e-newsletters, promotional materials, and campaign collateral.
  • Schedule and facilitate community events such as Pop-Up engagement sessions.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement strategies to sign residents up for the campaign.
  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies and tactics, including managing online services.
  • Support the implementation of community engagement plans and activities.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and customer engagement.
  • Conduct research and support various projects.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors or managers.
  • Provide relief coverage for other staff as required.
  • Rotate between different functions within the business unit.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries via phone and online platforms.
  • Manage information and customer systems efficiently.

  • Proven experience in community engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively to develop engagement strategies
  • Adaptability to switch between various functions and tasks
  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills
