About Your Opportunity

  • Manage incoming commercial requests and allocate tasks across the team based on expertise, workload, and project priorities, ensuring efficient delivery, balanced resourcing, and consistently high-quality outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Commercial Risk Accountability: Lead the team in monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance across IPCD Sustaining Capital contracts. Guide the team in proactively identifying and mitigating commercial risks, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizational Interface: Operate within a matrix-style operating model, collaborating across projects led by a core project delivery team. Contract Managers and Contract Administrators are integral parts of the team you manage.
  • Procurement Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic procurement plans with the Commercial team, focusing on implementing competitive commercial frameworks, governance, and assurance processes that guide project development and delivery.
  • Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with the Commercial team for contract negotiations, ensuring adherence to legal and commercial standards for the benefit of the project.
  • IPCD Financial Oversight and Reporting: Manage and improve the accuracy of monthly IPCD commercial performance reports to support informed decision-making by maintaining robust systems and controls for financial management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure project success.
  • Data Management: Supervise the management and updating of costs and contract-related data into relevant databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
