Join our Haematology Clinical Trials Team

The Clinical Trials Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned clinical trials. This involves managing patient and trial databases, assisting with trial-related finances, and performing scientific and clinical research tasks. The role reports to the Clinical Trials Unit Manager for Haematology. The incumbent will be a member of the haematology clinical trials unit, located on level two of the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

About the role :

Duties for the role will include :

  1. Being responsible for the day-to-day management of allocated clinical trials.
  2. Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting clinical trial data to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of relevant findings and statistics.
  3. Liaising with sponsor companies from initial contact through to study close-out.
  4. Ensuring good working practice and compliance with the ICH GCP guidelines and the National Statement.
  5. Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that is highly responsive to the needs of consumers.

About you :

We are looking for a team player who has the ability to work harmoniously as part of a team. The ideal candidate will also have :

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Previous experience in a haematology / oncology environment and in clinical trials.
  • Proven experience in statistics, epidemiology, and / or health economics.
  • Competence in venepuncture and processing of biological specimens.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
