We're now seeking a confident, proactive person to be the main interface with our online customers and ensure the smooth operation and success of our web sales business.
The role
As our Ecommerce Sales & Customer Service lead you'll play an important role in providing quality customer service, sales, and support to our customers and sales team.
Your primary role will involve engaging and communicating with our customers, overseeing the end-to-end fulfilment of web sales, including logistics, and supporting our ecommerce manager to ensure the smooth operation of our web store. You'll also work closely with our broader sales and marketing team to help drive the growth of the online business.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Address and/or direct customer inquiries via live chat, phone, and email promptly. Ensure ongoing service and fulfillment for web sales. Provide timely updates on stock availability, order status and ETA changes, and manage back orders collaboratively with the purchasing team. Keep abreast and engaged with our Google ratings and presence.
- Customer and Transaction Management: Process quotes, sales orders, and invoices for all ecommerce transactions with precision. Conduct security checks and engage new customers, ensuring accurate entry into our system.
- Order Processing and Tracking: Efficiently handle all aspects of order processing, including payment reconciliation, stock requisitions, and order tracking for web sales. Keep customers informed about order progress.
- After Sales Support: Manage credits, returns, service, and warranty replacements according to established procedures for orders. Coordinate customer invoicing and ensure seamless delivery.
- Website Management: Manage and monitor the sales aspect of our Ecommerce platform (Shopify). Support the Ecommerce Manager in ensuring listing and content accuracy, price management, and overall website functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with product knowledge and actively seek opportunities to enhance customer service efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, Ecommerce sales, sales coordination, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction management.
- Ability to manage large volumes of sales and workload efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Shopify, ERP, and accounting software.
- Commitment to high standards of customer service.
- Existing knowledge of video technology is advantageous but not essential.
