Overview

Hit the road with Global Spill Control Manage key mining and safety accounts across Queensland with Aussie-made products and a trusted industry leader. Our client Global Spill Control is a leader in spill control, containment, and site safety solutions since 1991 and now have the backing of a US powerhouse in the safety industry. They manufacture over 90% of products in-house at their Melbourne facility including absorbents, spill kits, dangerous goods storage, bunds, and safety signage. Customers span major industries – mining, oil & gas, government agencies, and more.

As Key Account Manager for Queensland, you will stay connected with boots on the ground visiting sites across the state. Whether you are replenishing stock or troubleshooting on the go, you will serve clients such as Tier 1 miners, large manufacturers and warehousing operations, health providers, and local safety retailers.

Responsibilities
  • Be the face of Global Spill Control across Townsville, Mount Isa, the Bowen Basin, suburban and regional QLD.
  • Build and nurture relationships with safety officers, procurement teams, and site/store managers.
  • Manage restocking visits and proactively identify sales and service opportunities.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager – Queensland.
What We're Looking For

Whilst mostly on the road your home base is in Luscombe, and you bring:

  • Industrial sales experience, ideally with safety, environmental, or technical products.
  • A confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable in both one-on-one and presentation settings.
  • A self-starter mindset – resourceful, proactive, inquisitive, and ready to ask the extra questions to uncover needs.
  • Exceptional customer service instincts with strong accountability, initiative, and hands-on problem-solving.
