We have an opportunity, initially within a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, for a Senior Manager, First Line Assurance Insights to join us at our Barangaroo office. This role is critical in strengthening the assurance function within the first line by uncovering insights, detecting anomalies, and improving assurance efficiency. The Senior Manager will assist the Head of First Line Assurance in developing and implementing insights to support assurance activities across IWPB, ensuring controls are adequate, high-quality, effective, and compliant with local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of First Line Assurance, Senior Manager, and Managers in providing data-driven assurance support that informs decisions and enhances controls across IWPB.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify data insight needs and create analytics supporting business objectives.
  • Assist in designing and implementing the controls assurance program.
  • Promptly escalate concerns regarding process and control effectiveness.
  • Develop dashboards, scripts, and tools for continuous assurance and risk assessments.
  • Identify anomalies, patterns, trends, and risks through data mining and analysis.
  • Present data insights clearly using visualization tools, considering technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop assurance insights frameworks and best practices aligned with the assurance methodology and sampling approach.
  • Integrate insights and analytics into the end-to-end assurance lifecycle.
  • Utilize advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Support the broader IWPB Business Risk Leadership Team with data insights across Risk, Governance, Regulatory, and Customer Fairness functions as needed.
