Now, our National Customer Service team is growing – and we're on the hunt for another Call Centre Operator to join us in Perth.

This isn't just another call centre role. At Steamatic, you'll be part of a team that's trusted to respond in people's toughest moments, backed by the resources of a publicly listed company but with the vibe of a close-knit family.

What Makes a Steamatic HERO?

We call our people HERO's because that's exactly what they are.

You've got energy, passion, and a can-do attitude.

You thrive on variety and are quick on your feet.

You've got empathy and patience, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

You're methodical, accountable, and keen to learn about the fascinating world of restoration.

About the Role

Every day is different, but you'll be:

Taking inbound calls from insurers, customers, and our own restoration crews.

Triaging, recording, and updating claims across multiple systems and portals.

Managing a mix of inbound, outbound, and email-based queries.

Juggling high volumes while keeping a cool head and a warm tone.

Hitting KPIs while making a genuine difference to people in need.

Skills & Experience

We're after attitude as much as experience. If you've got some (or all) of the below, we'd love to hear from you:

Top-notch customer service and a friendly, professional phone manner.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Accurate and efficient data entry.

Attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure.

Empathy – you'll often speak with people in stressful situations.

Insurance or call centre experience is handy but not essential.

** Fresh out of study or light on experience? That's okay. With the right mindset, you'll learn from our highly skilled team.

What's in it for You (aka HERO Benefits)

Immediate start – full-time, permanent role.

Paid overtime and career progression opportunities.

Be part of a national admin team based in Canning Vale.

Corporate uniform provided (we'll keep you looking sharp).

Ongoing industry training & upskilling.

Social events & team celebrations – we work hard and play harder.

Employee reward & recognition platform (Perkbox).

Free Employee Assistance Program (because your wellbeing matters).

Supportive, safety-first culture with experienced managers who actually care.

Stability, security, and the chance to build a long-term career with a company that keeps growing.

At Steamatic, HERO means:

H – Highest Ethics

E – Empathy

R – Return (to customers, to each other, to shareholders)

O – Opportunity to grow

We live by Responsibility, Integrity, Care, Excellence, and Enjoyment. Individually we're good, but together we're brilliant.

If the Cape Fits…

Then step up – we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and tell us why you're ready to be our next HERO.

Must have the right to work in Australia
Ability to obtain a Police Check & Working with Children Check
Flexibility with hours and overtime when needed – because disasters don't run on a 9–5 clock.

Join Steamatic. Do work that matters. Be the HERO when people need you most.
