An Australian owned International Freight Forwarder / Logistics Company is seeking an experienced 3PL Warehouse Manager to run the temperature-controlled facility in Eagle Farm or Murarrie, QLD.

Overview

Overall scope and purpose of position: Reporting to the CEO and COO you will ensure the high standard and efficient operations of the 3PL food grade temperature-controlled warehouse facility.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Overall Management of 3000 sqm / 2000 pallet space Customs Bonded facility including:

  • Arrange container unpacks and empty returns
  • Ensure goods are stored at the right chilled / frozen / ambient temperature
  • Order fulfilment, Receiving & Dispatch activities within SLA
  • Manage a team of 4-5 storemen
  • Monitor due dates & lead times
  • Maximise delivery by meeting customer deadlines
  • Prioritise orders for release in line with delivery due dates
  • Inventory Management
  • Assist with Key Process Definition and Documentation
  • Process improvement recommendations and implementation
  • Ensure WH&S policies are met
  • Any other relevant tasks as assigned by management
ABOUT YOU
  • 3+ yrs experience managing a 3PL facility
  • Experience running a temperature-controlled facility
  • Staff management experience
  • WMS experience (preferably Cargowise1)
